I’ve been married for 13 and a half years now (December 2007) to my first wife, Alison (formerly) White.  We have two boys, Kaleb (8) and Luke (5.5) and they lived most of their lives in Sweden where we worked as missionaries with Youth With A Mission.  After living and working in Sweden for about 7 years, God led us to return to the USA during the summer of 2006 (has it really been THAT long?!?) and we’ve lived in Greensboro, NC ever since.

During our involvement with Youth With A Mission, we studied within its School of Biblical Studies (a nine-month inductive Bible study school, during which the student studies each book of the Bible inductively, reading most of the books five times or more in the process) and grew tremendously in our appreciation for the Bible as the Word of God and for its applicability to every area of life.  The humble goal of this blog is to share my understanding of Biblical theology and its application to politics, sexuality, government, the arts, etc., etc.  I am under no illusions that my perspectives are always correct and it is my goal to learn as much from this blog as others learn from me (hopefully more, actually!).

I’m currently working as a Practice Group Manager in a company called, Effectur, Inc., where we seek to assist individuals and businesses who have income tax problems.  It’s a role which provides me with ample opportunities to practice many of the principles I share in this blog and I covet your prayers that I would allow Christ to live through me in my new missions field.
